With the growing interest in Swing, Jazz, Ce Roc / Le Roc, Balboa, Charleston dance, etc., the interest in the music associated with  these styles  of dance is being revitalised.

Based in North Somerset the band  formed in 2005 and apart from performing seeks to encourage musicians of all ages and abilities into the exciting challenge of big band arrangements. We welcome any musician who wants the experience of playing, developing their skills and passing on their experience and knowledge to others.

'Mendip Swing' is a seventeen piece Jazz / Swing band which can cater for these styles of dance and more. We can provide Trios, jazz combos, Blues band or any combination you fancy.
